Children are grouped according to the developmental phase they're in, with 3-6 year olds in one group, and 6-12 in another. Mixed age groups allow the children to work on each subject at the level they're at and to interact with, learn from, and help mentor classmates of a variety of ages. Our classrooms are designed to be small communities that work together to support each other. Mixed age groups are part of what makes this possible.
-
Our ratio of adults to children in the Children's House doesn't exceed 1:10. Our classrooms range from numbers in the teens to twenties, with more adults in classrooms with more children.
-
All our guides hold AMI training, and all staff regularly engage in continuing education through AMI.

Children pack their own lunch and snack in Elementary. In the Children's House they pack their own lunch and have a community snack. We are accustomed to and able to accommodate most dietary restrictions so long as the allergies aren't airborne. One of the things the elementary children learn about in their food preparation work is the importance of food safety in terms of cross-contamination and awareness of allergens.

Children's development doesn't run on a September to June calendar. We're happy to have children join at any point during the year.

After filling out an interest form, the next step in enrollment is a visit to see if our school feels like a good fit for your family.
-
We offer financial aid and a discount for multiple siblings.

We have a napping space for children who still need a nap. In the primary classrooms children lay down for a rest that lasts 30 minuets, they are not expected to sleep.
