Talina Corvus
Talina is a MMS parent with one child in elementary and one in primary who has been a member of the MMS community for the last 7 years. She works as an Interim Director and assistant professor at Pacific University where she teaches topics in research, teaching, and physical therapy and where she studies education and belonging. She loves poetry, running, hiking, gardening, and making pancakes, and any time she can get the kids to them with her.
Erin McCarthy
Erin G. McCarthy is a farm-dwelling Wagnerian soprano based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. An instructor of voice who has spent the last 25 years providing dynamic, award-winning instruction to ambitious vocalists, she offers a uniquely empathetic and joyous approach to teaching. Her students appear onstage across genres and styles throughout the world, including current Broadway artists, career-track young classical artists, and contemporary singer-songwriters. Erin's singing career includes years spent with Helmuth Rilling and his International Bachakademie Stuttgart in Germany, several important competition wins including a top-15 finish in the 2015 International Elizabeth Connell Prize at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and notable concert work throughout New England and the West Coast. She is an Associate Professor of Voice at Western Oregon University and operates the Erin G. McCarthy Vocal Studio out of a converted outbuilding on Fermata Farm, where she regularly makes music with the barnyard creatures who live there. A lifelong equestrian, in 2020 she and her horse Etta were contestants on Season 15 of America's Got Talent.
Julia Tramelli - Interim Treasurer
Julie is a newly retired educator having been a teacher and school administrator over the course of thirty-eight years. She is passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning experience for all children. Julie enjoys reading, volunteering, and keeping company with her six grandchildren.
Rosemary Roberts
One of the original MMS students back in the school’s early days, Rosemary is grateful to not only have two children in the elementary classroom now, but to be able to support the school as a board member as well. Rosemary is a reproductive/sexual health educator with a background in alternative and nature-based education, cultural anthropology, permaculture, and herbalism.
