News & Events
Dear Families, Gentle, but important reminders:
- School starts at 7:15 am and our day ends at 5:30 pm.
- Immunization records need to be current. If you have any immunizations that are required by the turn of a birthday, please take care of them by December. I had a representative from the Oregon Health Department come pay us a visit yesterday. I would love for us to be updated and in compliance before my report is due in January. Thank you all so much!
- October 13: In-service Day (no school)
- October 19: Parent Education Evening 5:30-7 pm (no child care available)
Big shout out to the Rynearson Family for beautiful curtains and plants for the lovely planter boxers for the Forest Room.
Don't forget to turn in your receipts to me if you would like the cost to count towards your fundraising goal, and email me your SOS hours!!
Thank you David Bates (Silas'dad) for arranging a trip to visit Marilyn Worrix, a book artist. We got to see some amazing ways to do bookbinding. She even may come to our school to give our kids a lesson. It was very exciting!
Our playground has cedar chips for ground cover. The children and adults all LOVE it.
We welcomed two new families to the Forest Room: The Kulangara family and the Miller/ Kent family. If you see them around campus, shout out a warm hello.
I am looking for a volunteer to replace all the latches on our wooden gates. I am also looking for a volunteer to take a very large cardboard box to recycle, and take away the metal scraps and wood scraps that are in the alley of the Garden Room. Please send me an email if you are available. Thank you!
Both, the Garden and Forest Room would like their bathrooms painted.
School t-shirts coming soon! Stay tuned.
With warm gratitude,
