Highly Trained, Specialized Faculty
Since Montessori focuses on developing the potential of each child, it relies on specially trained teachers and unique teaching materials. McMinnville Montessori School proudly offers the highest levels of expertise to guide our students. Our faculty, in addition to their undergraduate studies, have completed intensive, rigorous training to specialize in the Montessori method.
Head of School
Shazia discovered Montessori more than fifteen years ago, and has completed all three levels of Montessori training. She moved from Pakistan to the United States twenty years ago, and made her home in the Montessori community. She has lived and traveled all over the globe and has gained a myriad of experiences in both establishing and growing schools. Having worked at all three levels has given her a broad and profound understanding of Montessori philosophy. When she is not at school, she enjoys cycling, reading, seeing live music, eating, and is a great sous chef in the kitchen. Shazia loves to travel every chance she gets and enjoys discovering the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Shazia is thrilled to join this sweet community here in McMinnville and is looking forward to getting to know all of the familes.
