Maria

Maria Eustrom

Elementary Teacher

Maria begins her fifteenth year at MMS with twenty years of teaching experience; three at the Primary and seventeen at the Elementary level. A native of Sweden, Maria moved to Oregon from San Diego where she earned her Montessori certification for both Primary and Elementary through 12 years of age. Maria also has a four-year degree in Recreational Therapy from Vaxjo University in Sweden.

Leslie

Leslie Scott        Primary Teacher

Leslie first joined our school as a parent in 1995. She has lived in various U.S. States and Germany. Now joining our staff for her thirteenth year, Leslie received her AMI Primary teaching credentials at Montessori Institute Northwest in Portland.

 

Rommie Christiansen       Primary After School Care Teacher

Rommie joins us for her first full school year. Rommie is a graduate from George Fox University specializing in Theatre. She has worked with young children in different aspects of childcare such as Camp Counselor and Nanny. We are pleased to have Rommie as our Primary After School Care Teacher.

 

Sylvia

Sylvia Stater         Music Teacher 

Sylvia grew up in Northern Ireland singing in church with her three sisters. Piano and voice lessons were part of her growing up. Through the years and present day she has been a member of a variety of choirs and special events. As an MMS Alumni parent, she has been guiding our children through music for over 5 years. Her goal is to nurture the rhythms that are intrinsic within us. It is a pleasure to have her as our Music Teacher.

Elaine Paulman-Roman     Office Manager/ Bookkeeper

Elaine begins her first year at MMS with over eleven years in office management experience. Elaine went to the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
